Congress Park real estate was alive and kicking this last quarter. Inventory slightly increased, homes sold WAY faster and closing prices were up!
Life in Congress Park: The Botanical Gardens
Even while the temperature cools off, Denver’s Botanic Gardens stays active with fun events year round! In the next few weeks the gardens will host a corn maze, haunted house, the Chihuly exhibit and a Day of the Dead ball! Check out their list of events.
Congress Park Real Estate Statistics
- Number of Active Listings
There was a 5 percent increase in inventory this past quarter, with active listings up from 64 to 67. A year ago at this time, there were 203 active listings.
- Sold Homes
Congress Park real estate had an unusual dip in closings this past quarter. There were 63 homes sold in July to September, 2014, compared to 60 from April to June — a 5 percent decrease.
- Days on the Market
The Congress Park real estate properties that were on the market moved even faster this quarter. The days on the market (DOM) decreased 71 percent, from 65 to 19 days.
- Average Sales Price
An increase in the average sales price this past quarter bumped Congress Park real estate up from $314,400 to $356,000.
